A Brief Bio

Steve Caraco was born in Somerville, Mass. on Friday, April 3, 1970.  He lived in Billerica for over 32 years, then Roslindale for 2 years, and he currently lives in West Roxbury.

He enjoys photography, computers, music, movies, technology, food, travel, and meeting new people. He has always been a huge fan of Madonna, and in 1992 he started The Madonna Catalog, which (since going online in 1996) is now the world’s largest and longest-running all-Madonna fan site.  Although he doesn’t keep the site as up-to-date as he used to (latest updates are from around 2008), the site is still up and running today.  He has also created a fan-based tribute site to the late, great R&B/Soul singer Ephraim Lewis.

Currently, he works for Apple in Dedham as a full-time Expert, Trainer, and Mentor in the Legacy Place retail store.

1. •City maps that don’t have a “you are here” sticker on them - the whole point of looking at a map is to find out where I am, so I can see where I’m going!
   

2. •People who wear really dark or mirrored sunglasses, and expect you to look at them when you talk to them
   

3. •People who have loud, annoying cell phone conversations on the train
   

4. •People who over-use the word LITERALLY.  I know someone who uses it every 10th word during a conversation or story.  It literally drives me crazy!
   

5. •Bathroom attendants - I can do everything all by myself just fine, thank you!  And those signs drive me crazy that say “What would this bathroom look like without an attendant?”  Well, the answer is THE SAME
   

6. •People who wear a belt, but their pants still hang below their ass, with about a foot of their boxers showing - but they think it’s “cool” or “hip” or whatever - trust me, it’s not!!!
   

7. •Loud motorcycles - why aren’t they illegal?
   

8. •Not being able to just walk down the street without inhaling someone’s second-hand smoke (especially cigars)
   

9. •Not being able to just walk down the street without being harassed by someone with a clipboard.  No, I don’t have time to save the planet!
   

10. •Crying kids and babies at movie theaters - they should be banned!
    

11. •When you make a one-time donation to a charity, then you have a “friend for life” and they never stop bugging you after that!
    

12. •People who over-use the ROTFL acronym - are you ACTUALLY rolling on the floor laughing, or did you just chuckle a little bit?
    

13. •People who wear WAY too much cologne - especially Abercrombie’s “Fierce”
